Thai Airways International regret to announce that Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport will be closing one runway for maintenance, from 11 June until 10 August 2012.
As there will be only one runway serviceable for aircrafts’ take off and landing, the runway maintenance is expected to cause air traffic congestion both in the air and on ground and some incoming flights might be hold in the air for 20-45 minutes on queue up for landing during peak period.

Thai Airways and other airlines are advising their passengers who have a connecting flight to allow a minimum connecting time of 80 minutes at Bangkok during this 60 days of runway maintenance.
